James: Why isn’t Susan at work today? She’s never late.
Lillian: She quit yesterday.
James: Really? Why?
Lillian: She and her husband run a shopping website. They make over a million dollars every month and just bought a nice big house with a swimming pool. I guess she doesn’t have to work anymore.
James: Wow, still water runs deep. Who would have thought? She always takes a bus and never spends over $100　on　a meal.
Lillian: Actually, Susan has a Ph. D. and speaks five languages.

James: Are you serious? Why did she work here as an assistant, then.
Lillian: Well, she’s Charlie’s younger sister.
James: She’s the boss’s sister?
Lillian: That’s right, but she doesn’t want anymore to know about it. That’s why she uses her husband’s last name.
James: How did you find out so much about her?
Lillian: Well, can you keep a secret?
James: Sure.
Lillian: Charlie told me. We have been dating for three months, and her just asked me to marry him last night.
